What to read after Harry Potter?

I've read the Harry Potter books more times than I can remember, so i was just wondering, IS there anything good enough to compare? ( i doubt it ). Please give me some suggestions BUT the books can have nothing to do with romance, vampires, divorces, boyfriends, or any of that garbage. I'd appreciate it if the setting was in modern times too, and preferably about kids. I'm a fourteen year old girl too, so what do you think I'd enjoy? Oh and I've already read Charlie Bone and Spiderwick which weren't as good. And Percy Jackson was too corny. I'm dying for something to read so please don't give me depressing answers like 'there is nothing that compares', just please wrack your brain and come up with at least one suggestion?
