If i get a replacement iphone from apple will i be able to jailbreak?

ok so i have had the same iphone for a long time, and the touch screen is going out. and im wondering if i get it replaced with apple. will i be able to use my ssh (i think thats not what its called) through cydia to jailbreak? because when im typing it just misses letters and i have to type really slow. please let me know! thanks in advance
