How much does a car dealer charge for a copy of a smart key?

where i am right now, no locksmith can copy my key. they always tell me that it's just a dealer item nowadays because they don't have my kind of key anymore. but if they did, they will charge me $125 plus tax. went to this dealer and was charging me $300 for a copy. so i would like to know,if anyone actually went to a dealer,how much did you pay for yours?
