6 meals a day to build a lean body?

I'm currently on a diet that requires me to eat 6 samll meals a day consisting of "clean" food such as alot of protein and the such. However i was wondering if it would be more effective to eat 3 meals a day instead of 6 or maybe even 4 at the most. I'm trying to lose at leats 20lbs so that i can build on at least 5-6lbs of muscle. I'm already pretty muscular and when I flex I can see my abs taking shape. However I want to lose the weight so I won't have to flex to see my abs. I'm also doing cardio and taking fish oil, flaxseed oil, and b-complex every morning along with my weight lifting regimen 5-6 times a week. So will all this help me to lose 20 pounds in 6 weeks and will eating 3-4 meals a day be better than eating 6?
