What lens should I take to the Botanical Garden for erflies ?

I would normally go for the widest lens but you may do better with your fast 50mm. As for the fogging, keep your camera and lens in a closed bag and as soon as you get out of the car, remove take it out to equalize the air within the lens with the atmosphere. Do not take out the camera from the bag in the car. Do it outside.
