Should I allow my wife to wear her squirrel genital earrings to my tech school gala?

Last night while I was mean muggin’ the family television set because of an intellectually dishonest Folger's commercial, my wife stepped into the room to show off her new dress for my tech school’s 17th Annual “Protect Your Tech” Gala. Her dress was gorgeous! But then, as she catwalked toward me, I noticed something strange hanging from her ears. I looked closer and it was tiny ! Turns out, my wife received a family heirloom after her great aunt Carol ped of squirrel genital earrings!!! They don't really look too bad from afar but when you get up close you can kind of tell it's squirrel . Should I bring her to the gala? Because she's insisting that she be able to show them off. She's very proud of her family (at least someone is).
