Can a letting agent reallocate part of a protected deposit to cover admin charges they forgot to claim?

What does the contract that you signed with them state? I would read it over and if you need help, contact an attorney. Many times a complainant will be scared off by a telephone call or letter from an attorney - esp. when the attorney is right.
